Join artist Becka Elliott and clown Iona May-zing for a day of creative experimentation through mark-making and clowning around. You will weave between these two creative forms of expression throughout the day. All responses are personal and unique, so let's fail joyfully together!

In and Out of (self) Love - Yoga and Clowning Around

Join clown facilitator Iona May-zing and yoga teacher Elise SHINE for an afternoon of embodied movement and clowning around! In this light-hearted session, we will use creative movement, yoga asana, playful games, mindful improv and a choice of hats to explore how we relate to our magical bodies and how we make connections with others.
Playing, Pausing, & Stuff - a day of Clowning Around with objects/props
20th September | 10.30 - 5.00 | Silver Road Community Centre, Norwich
Join clown facilitators Iona May-zing and Mairi-Claire Traynor for this special day of human connection, play, and taking time to pause in the 'here and now'. In this workshop you will encounter a range of simple, 'random' objects and get to experiment with what happens when you bring a clowny curiosity, imagination, and practicality to these encounters.
'...the Sincerest Form of Flattery' - playing by mirroring/imitating/copying
15th November | 1.30 - 5.00 | Silver Road Community Centre, Norwich
You will explore what emerges when you play through imitating your play-mates and the things you see in the world around you. Perhaps it'll be the starting point for joyous connection and symmetry. Or perhaps you will relish in your uniqueness and the glorious impossibility of becoming the 'perfect mirror'... Or perhaps something else entirely. Come along to find out!
